Greetings to you dear brothers and sisters.

Peace be to you.

God has blessed me with a ministry in a Christian church called "Calvary". I am an administrator of the church.

In the performance of one's duty I often visit city administration, governor's committees and meet with secular people. When they learn I am minister of the church, they ask questions about creation, salvation, ministry of Jesus Christ. Most of the people don't know the truth. They don't know God's love and God's mercy. They say they've done wrong so much, they can't be forgiven. But those are the thoughts of the devil.

I preach sometimes in my church, read the Word of God, pray and ask God for revelations. And He reveals to me. One thing He reveals is that I have to go and bring good news to people, that I need to study and to teach others.

The Word of God tells about Great Commission: "Therefore go, and teach all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, so, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.'' (Mt.28:19,20)

I thank God that there is Hope Now mission in Cherkasy under the direction of a wise man in Christ, Vic Jackopson. Thanks to him, there was started a Bible school for pastors and church leaders.

We live in the world where money is of great significance. Brothers and sisters donate to support missions, to do conferences, to organise children and youth camps, to print Bibles.  And the Word of God and the Holy Spirit touches many hearts and they bow down to repent in their sins, accept God and Jesus Christ into their hearts. Praise be to God for brother David Reddaway, who supports and leads the School.

In May the study comes to an end. Three years has given us so much: we overviewed the Bible, spiritual life, church life, sermons, principles and methods of teaching, Christian history, mission, apprenticeship.
I want to express a special thank you to our teachers, spiritual mentors: Vladimir Kuzin, Vadim Kurat, Sergei Geize, Vasyl Ustenko. Those are God's people, pastors of the churches.  They not only taught us the Bible doctrines, but shared their own experience of work on God's field. Special Thanks also to our administrator, Valentina Kurat. She unites us, creates a family atmosphere, builds tight relationships between the teachers and the students. We all were provided with the books, literature we needed.

Besides spiritual food we had nice food for our bodies. We express our thanks to the kitchen workers.

May God bless you in your work and ministry to the Lord. You do what pleases God.

Sincerely Valerii Petrochenko
