Each year volunteers raise the funds to travel to Ukraine for a week or so of mission. Often their home church or house groups will help with financing the trip and many use part of their annual holiday entitlement to make a difference in the name of Jesus.
Lyudmila is one of the ladies who came to Kompas Park and met some of our volunteers, read her own words below;
Good day our dear friends I can’t express all the emotions that overfill my heart. I thank God for putting a desire into your hearts to come to Ukraine. Thank you, dear friends, for your kindness and care for us. In your hearts and souls you have God’s love and you were willing to share it with us. I am so grateful that you gave your time to come to us, so that we could have so much fun and lots of activities. We had time to learn the Word of God and to have an active rest. It was so good to spend time together. We left all our problems at home and being with each other we felt the presence of the Holy Spirit. It was so good to be in fellowship with you, the nicer place could be heaven only. We didn’t want to say good bye to you!
Many of us cried when it was time to say good bye and on our way back home. Thank you again dear friends for coming. May God richly bless you and supply all your spiritual, physical and material needs. Thank you for wishing me a happy birthday, and for all your gifts and attention. But the best gift, of course, was your presence and the fellowship with you.
Since we met, you and all your friends will always be in our prayers. We’ll pray for you and your families. And for your country that used to be so far but has become very close. Keep in touch when you can. It will be a joy and encouragement to hear from you. Dear friends! From now on you are in our hearts.

18.05.2012 Remember before God all our children in cottage homes, thanking God for the security and love they receive from their foster parents as they grow up in these Christian families
