New students

My name is Myroslava. I am 17. I am a student of medical college, obstetrical faculty. My goal for the future is to bring glory to our Heavenly Father through my work, that’s why I make many efforts to study well to be a good worker.

I attend evangelical Baptist church. It is not a big church but I find in it what I need. My church is in my native town of Kamianka, so I go home quite often. As I study in Cherkasy I have to rent an apartment. And I praise the Lord I can serve him attending a different church.

My family members are Christians. I have parents whom I love very much. They do their best to give us more than they are able to give. My mum works as a teacher and my dad is a minister in the church. And I have a sister. She studies to be master of ecology plus teacher of foreign literature and language.

I had successfully finished school and so it was not difficult to enter the college. I could enter a more popular institution but I do believe that medical college is a place where God wants me to be. I am happy I’ve chosen this profession. I can be useful to others and praise the Lord. I have very good classmates. And I thank God for that.

I ask financial support for the period of my studies (2,5 years) and would be very grateful for any help.

Monthly expenses:
•    Rent – 30 pounds
•    Transport – 25 pounds
•    College – 25 pounds
•    Food & household expenses – 40 pounds
•    Clothing – 16 pounds
Total: 136 Pounds.

May God bless you.

I am Alyona Toropova. I live and study at school in the village Tubiltsi (Cherkasy district). I am in the 9th form and would like enter a college next year to be a manager. I stay with my mum as my parents are divorced. I love my dad but he has another family and two children and can’t help. I’ll try to get free state education but village school knowledge is unlikely to be good enough to achieve that. Duration of the course is 5 years. Every year costs 640 pounds. I’ll work in summer to save some money but I’ll need help.

Greetings from Ukraine

I am Katya Tsar from Ukraine, from a small town called Smila. I was born on 29th of November 1988. I am 22. I have attended “Resurrection” church since I am 4. I had a precious family: dad, mum, sister and I. But in 1997 I lost my dad, who died because of cancer. My sister was disabled as she had cancer of spinal cord. She was baptized in July 1999 but died in December 1999 when she was 19. After she died my mum started attending a church and in 2003 I and my mum were baptised. And I started working in Sunday school and summer camps. After I finished school in 2006 I wanted to enter medical college, but because of lack of finances I entered a technical college, as it was free of charge. At college I was paid my father’s pension and stipend. After I finished college I found a job in a shop to sell photo goods. I worked there for 2 years and was paid 40 pounds per month. In those years I tried to enter medial college but only managed to enter requiring payment department. In 2011 there was issued a law that gave me a chance to enter higher educational institution that is national university, biology faculty. That was a blessing from God. But there is a financial problem again. I turned to be 23 and am not paid father’s pension any more. To rent an apartment or a dormitory is too much money for me that’s why I go home every day. The income for the family is mum’s pension 65 pounds and my stipend 55 pounds. That’s why I need additional support. I’ll be very thankful for any financial blessing.

May God bless you
Love
Katya Tsar (Smila town)
