When Yura Godyna was suggested as a candidate for Cornah house his teachers warned that he probably wouldn't be a fit candidate but refused to say why. Their fears were unfounded, as Yura grows and matures in his newfound faith. Recently, his face appeared in the doorway of my office. "You know what", he bubbled cheerfully, "I attend youth meetings. Its good to be in church" He wanted someone to listen to him and we were eager to listen. "I want to learn more about God". He went on. "You know what? I can write poems about God. I used to write about nature and love but now I write about God. I'm only afraid to read them.
We agreed that Yura should write his poems down and join our group at Swindon House where we are studying God's names and he will share his poems with us. Its so pleasant to see our young people growing like this. Do please keep praying for me and Victor and the young men and young ladies in our care. Larissa Vovk
