Alyona Patsalyuk – Pills or waffles?

My name is Alyona. Nine years ago me, my parents and all our big family (I have three sisters and one brother) came to Ukraine from Moldova. Because of some difficulties with the language, I missed one year at school. But God helped me to finish school and this year I stand before one of the most important questions of my life - to choose a profession.

I’ve chosen the profession of pharmacy – available at the Cherkassy Medical College. The cost of attending the pharmacy course is $750 per year for 3 years. My mother can not work because of her poor health, and my father is ill and doesn’t build the family but ruins it. We pray for him and would appreciate your prayers too. I try to work as much as I can (making waffles) in the evenings and in my free time to support the family and I’ll be very thankful if Hope Now agrees to cover my education fees or may be just part of it.

Hope Now receives letters like this every day, from deserving young Christians trying to get ahead in life.  The General Fund makes it possible to grant many of these requests every year.  Won’t you help?
