At the commencement of the new academic year, the Cherkassy Centre for Biblical Studies welcomed a new lecturer. Gennadiy
Gennadiy Gololob
Gololob was born in 1964. He holds a Bachelor of Theology degree, having studied at Donetsk Christian University from 1998-2001. Now, he is working as a Theological Editor in a Christian publishing house. Gennadiy has 3 children. He is an author of many publications seen various in Christian periodicals and on the Internet. In 2009 his book "Armenian Apology" was published.
On September 25, 2009 students of all ages from all over the Cherkassy region and beyond, attended the much anticipated, new six-day intensive Sunday School Teacher-training course at Hope Now's Alpha House. The lecturers were from St. Petersburg Christian University, which has a specialized teaching program for Sunday School teachers. Members of the faculty are sent to many other places in Eastern Europe to teach the course. It is a two-year program, containing 7 weeklong sessions. We had, at the Hope Now Bible School, a very rich graduation service of
sermons, testimonies, poems and songs. Everyone serves the Lord, as he
is able. The Lord blesses, He uses His clay vessels as He wants.
On May 15, students will gather with their teachers and guests to
celebrate graduation. It is thrilling to know that these men will spread
far and wide to be pastors and church planters.

"Calvary". I am an administrator of the church. As a part of my job, I
often visit city administrators, governor's committees and meet with
secular people.
The Hope Now Bible School in Cherkassy has opened new classes for
Sunday school teachers. Vitally Kozak was one of the first to take this
course and shares his impressions with us.
