I was born on February 2, 1992 into a big Christian family with 5 children.

At the “High Hopes Student Conference” a few years ago, some American and British participants proposed to pray for the Ukrainian students being sponsored by Hope Now.

At the commencement of the new academic year, the Cherkassy Centre for Biblical Studies welcomed a new lecturer.  Gennadiy Gololob was born in 1964.

I want to let you know a little bit about myself and to explain the reason I am asking for help.
In 2003, I entered the Kyiv Medical Institute, in the medical - psychological faculty, by contract basis.

I am Vlad from the village of Dubiivka. As a family, we didn't know about God but our neighbor told us about Christ and invited us to the church. I became a member of Ruska Poliana Baptist Church in 2006, along with my mom and older brother.

My life wasn't easy from the very beginning, as I was born in a family where my parents didn't know about God. My parents couldn't cope with their emotions and relationship. There were conflicts and quarrels every day, and several times they were on the brink of divorce. 

On July 5, Rev. Vic Jackopson went to the village of Makiyivka to present Alexander Vishymeersky, (father of Misha, Hope Now's Ukrainian director) with an award.
