"Welcome to Nasha Cherkashina, our Cherkassy, the geographic and spiritual heart of Ukraine. We want to introduce you to the work of Hope Now and invite you to come with us on a journey in which you will see the light and shade of our history, culture and aspirations.  Who are we to take on such a mighty task? We are four Ukrainian young people and a "not so young" British missionary.

We hope you will enjoy the showcase concert of Ukrainian talent and even be tempted to come to 'Our Cherkashina'.  Maybe you will even bring a team of volunteers to work with our children or widows at Kompas Park."

Proceeds of this tour will be used for constructing the Alexandria Church & Rescue Center and for improvements to Kompas Park.  We hope to see you at one of our tour stops along the way!

Historic landmark removed

The statue of Lenin has dominated the main square of Cherkassy for many years and even in the initial foment of the newly independent Ukraine back in the early 1990's, only a few of the Soviet icons were destroyed.
