Hope Now President, Vic Jackopson, was responsible for setting up the Kyiv Coalition for Street Children, a consortium of more than 20 Christian charities dedicated to the care of homeless children. The coalition works with the Kyiv City Council to reach the children where they are and to bring as many as possible back into some form of continuing residential care.
Hope Now is also currently partnered with Alexandria Baptist Church in the Kirovograd Oblast to build a new church and rescue shelter for the homeless children of that oblast. The £150,000 project aims to restore and refurbish the bombed out Bristol Hotel for this purpose.
