Dear Hope Now,
Thank you very much for hosting the Fresh Start Summer Program at Kompas Park.  Your generosity enabled us to organize many summer activities for 75 orphans, in a continuation of your Fresh Start for Children Education Program.

Hope Now cottage homes are scattered throughout the Cherkassy region. Over the next three months we shall eavesdrop on one of these families in Ruska Poliana.

“When you celebrate Christmas or New Year it is good to sit in a warm chair and watch TV with a plate of sandwiches”, - said one brother.

Galya and Sasha are two of our longest serving houseparents, having looked after Hope Now children for more than ten years.

After gaining impressive results last year, Dominique (see June 09 newsletter), hopes there will be a sponsor to assist him through university.

I am Olesia Ganzha.  I was born 4th in the family. There are six of us children.  As far as I remember, my parents were not friendly.  Father used to drink and beat Mother.

Who knows what might have happened to them if their mother had been successful in selling them.  At age 15 she gave birth to Alina and not two years later gave birth to Yulia.
