  British volunteers hard at work
More than sixty overseas volunteers had a great time serving at Kompas Park last summer.  For most it was their first experience of mission in Ukraine, but some volunteers were at Kompas Park for their second, third or even fourth time.  This is what some of them said:

“I have felt God talk to me and use me every minute of my time here…”

“The minute I arrived at Kompas Park I felt welcome”

“God is really at work here and I will continue to pray for you here at Kompas Park and for the kids in my group – they are fantastic.”

“…the children were polite and kind, I feel I have made some friends for life”

“Thank you so much for a fantastic week…..the whole place is brilliant”

We invite you to be part of Kompas Park  2010 and see for yourself what God is doing.  We have opportunities for mission service this summer.  It doesn’t matter if you have never been on mission before, and there is no upper age limit.

During May we need volunteers help get the camp ready for the new season.   Builders, carpenters and painters are particularly welcome but there are lots of other jobs just needing enthusiasm and willingness to help out.  Church teams, individuals and couples are all welcome.

Helping with children’s camps is really rewarding, and great fun.  There are spaces still available but you will need to let us know as soon as possible if you are thinking of applying.

With a slightly slower pace, but no less fun, are the camps for widows and widowers in September.  Volunteers always find their time with the more mature Ukrainian Christians a real blessing.

For information on Kompas Park or to download an application form, go to www.kompaspark.com.  Please call Cyndee at the Atlanta office for more details.

Kompas Park is a truly wonderful place to serve God by serving the people of Ukraine.

We look forward to seeing you!
